The incumbent will be allocated accounts within sales territory in Kwazulu-Natal and become part of bigger global dynamic team.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Coronary, Cardiac Rhythm Management, and Cardiac Surgery product lines.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities in both Private and Government accounts within KwaZulu-Natal.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiologists, surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement managers.
- Drive account performance and identify areas for growth or improvement.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for Medtronic’s product lines
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, ideally with cardiology-related products, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Relevant educational background, preferably a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Clinical knowledge of cardiology and cardiac surgery procedures is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within KwaZulu-Natal.
