Responsibilities:What we’re looking for:
- Selling of Essential products to customers according to AOP
- Maintain Market/Forward share and strategize with customers.
- Negotiating SOV on leaflets and social media adverts
- Maintain merchandising standards
- Maintain budget spending and space for our brands
- Lead, drive and embed a customer focused sales culture.
- Conduct Gate Meetings before Market daily
- Focus agenda in terms of Performance MTD, Execution and Discipline KPI’s
- Effective coaching Sales staff to increase Sales capability and performance.
- In-Market coaching of Van Sales Representatives
- Ensuring 100% hit rate of outlets within route
- Individual In Market visits with customers to address specific issues
- Business development and growth of customer base
- Attend meetings as and when required
- Proactively develop and implement internal and external business development strategies to achieve business growth and increase market share.
- Pivot strategic directions and align change
- Conduct regular training sessions with training team on critical business skills
- Conduct Performance reviews
What will qualify you for the role:
- 3 year Business / Commercial Tertiary qualification or equivalent
- 3 years working experience in a Bakery FMCG environment, with 1 year in a bakery selling role / experience
- Knowledge of the business
- Negotiating abilities
- Understanding Margins
