Overview

Omnia’s Agriculture division, the market leader in southern Africa, comprises Omnia Fertilizer and Omnia Specialities. The division produces granular, liquid and speciality fertilizers for a broad customer base of farmers, co-operatives and wholesalers throughout southern and East Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. The division is expanding its influence in Europe, South America and Asia, where it is increasing its sales of speciality products. The Omnia Agriculture division’s range of specialised products and services are encompassed by its unique Nutriology® offering, which assists customers to optimise crop yield and quality

Qualifications

• Grade 12

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of farm access roads in the broader Sasolburg and North West Area will be an advantage

Duties

• Scheduling of all finished products including liquid fertilizer, NH3, speciality products
• Receiving of all raw materials.
• Communicate with clients and marketing to format scheduling plan.
• Communicate the scheduling plan to production daily for production purposes.
• Contract Management for all liquid transport contractors.
• Managing and organizing of all transportation and logistics for deliveries of various products.
• Scheduling, and archiving of all related documentation.
• Manage IMS system for scheduling (SHEQ) including driver work instruction training.
• Handling, reporting, capturing and resolution of customer complaints.
• Ensure all stationery and consumables are available.

• MS Office,
• Excellent organizational/administration and time management skills, Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English and Afrikaans),
• Good stress handling ability,
• Detail orientated,
• Have a good balance between flexibility and assertiveness,
• Well-disciplined,
• Ability to operate well within a team environment as well as individually.
• Experience of Transport Operations will be an advantage.
• Experience with AX and Sizanani will be an advantage.
• Computer Literate.
