The Credit Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounts receivable and credit management processes. The role ensures timely collection of payments, effective credit risk management, and minimal exposure to bad debt, while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
Credit Control certification (advantageous).
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software Syspro.
Prior experience within FMCG or Manufacturing industry.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Proven problem-solving and query-resolution ability.
Exposure to managing a debtor’s book value of approximately R100 million.
Duties & Responsibilities

Manage customer accounts, including releasing orders on hold and reconciling discrepancies.
Monitor and collect overdue payments to ensure debtors remain within agreed terms.
Prepare and update cash flow forecasts, allocate payments, and process claims/credits.
Manage daily COD (Cash on Delivery) accounts and intercompany allocations.
Issue invoices, statements, and other debtor-related documentation.
Provide auditors with required documentation and support during financial reviews.
Assist with month-end processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure smooth credit control operations.
Perform ad-hoc finance and administration tasks as required.
