Financial Perspective (15%)
•Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Processes that are aligned to achieving elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions). •Assess resource requirements for the Unit and develop budget for the Organization Development function and regularly monitor resources of the unit ensuring they are allocated and utilized in a cost effective and financially disciplined manner and in line with budget provisions •Lead the review of Business Processes (headcount, process optimization etc.), to drive efficiency gains to ensure at least 5% reduction in Divisional budget year-on-year. •Participate in Contract negotiations to reduce cost and drive MTN SA Value Creation Philosophy.Customer Perspective (25%)

•Provide overall leadership for the execution of IT Service Continuity (ITSC), Cyber Resiliency and Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities in line with ISO22301, ISO27001, ISO27032 and ISO31000 for BCM, IT Service Continuity, IT Security, Cyber Security and Risk Management Frameworks respectively. •Plan, build, operate and manage the governance of MTN SA’s enterprise-wide Business Continuity Management program, including policies, roles and responsibilities, maturity model, methodologies, strategies, plans, budget (capital and operational), annual agenda, metrics and program scorecard for all components of the program. •Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management framework in relation to BCM, IT Service Continuity and ensure effective Cybersecurity operations including crisis management. •Create, implement, exercise, maintain and control disaster recovery plans and ensure Data Center Operations and Network Recovery planning efforts are aligned to business recovery objectives. •Design and implement companywide Business Continuity Management awareness and education program to ensure that all MTN SA personnel clearly understand their responsibilities before, during and after business disruption. •Identify and assess in conjunction with the Enterprise Risk Management function, business disruption risks and their impact on MTN SA current business practices and strategic plans through the implementation of a Business Continuity Management register of risks, controls, business processes, technologies, services and personnel •Work closely with other Divisions and departments in MTN SA and external parties to establish and regularly review key business •strategies in alignment with Business Continuity Management needs, including the recovery and restoration of MTN SA’s mission critical business processes, organizations, personnel, data and equipment. •Consult and advise Divisions and departments in MTN SA in conducting risk assessments and business impact analysis to develop appropriate business disruption risk mitigation strategies. •Control, create, implement, exercise and maintain Business Continuity Management and disaster recovery plans •Manage MTN SA’s expenditures for Business Continuity Management (for example, applications used by many business units across the enterprise), and coordinate and facilitate cross-enterprise business continuity management/disaster recovery exercises. •Develop, negotiate, manage, and enforce contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) for internal and external Business Continuity Management service providers. •Coordinate and deliver all enterprise communications to internal management (Board of Directors, the audit committee, Business Continuity Management steering committee) and external stakeholders (regulators, auditors, customers) regarding the status of the enterprise business continuity management and IS disaster recovery program, including annual reporting, audit report responses and customer requests. •Manage the execution of all recovery plans when business disruption occurs.People (Learning & Growth) Perspective

- Master’s degree in business or Management of Technical and Information Systems
- Business continuity management certifications appropriate to MTN SA needs: for example, Certified Business Continuity
- Professional (CBCP) and Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Fellow Business Continuity Institute (FBCI), Master
- Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) and ISO22301
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 12 years work experience in implementing business continuity management, disaster recovery and crisis management plans, including:
- Policy, organisation and architecture development
- Risk assessment and business impact analysis
- Recovery strategy development and multiple plan development and maintenance
- Overall program management and governance
- At least 2 years’ experience in business continuity management/disaster recovery within the telecoms or other related industry
- Experience in defining, implementing and enforcing risk-based standards, processes and procedures for responding to disruptions in business, technical and IS operations
- Minimum of 5 years management experience
- Demonstrated successful experience with external engagements, articles in related industry publications or published books would be an added advantage
