Job Summary
To lead the execution of complex organisational transactions involving the integration of acquired businesses or the separation of business units for divestiture. This role ensures the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the African regional context, requiring strong programme delivery expertise, stakeholder engagement, and agile leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution of Organisational Transactions:
Lead the delivery of strategic business integrations and separations, ensuring seamless transition of operations, systems, people, and processes in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Portfolio Delivery Leadership:
Provide strategic and operational oversight across a portfolio of initiatives. Coordinate delivery leads and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and minimal disruption to business-as-usual operations.

Agile Ways of Working:
Champion agile delivery practices and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) to drive iterative planning, adaptive execution, and continuous value delivery.

Stakeholder Management:
Engage and align a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors, legal, compliance, finance, technology, and third-party partners. Ensure clear communication, expectation management, and decision-making.

Governance & Reporting:
Establish and maintain programme governance structures. Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reporting on programme health, milestones, risks, and benefits realization to senior leadership and governance forums.

Risk & Dependency Management:
Identify and manage risks, interdependencies, and execution complexities. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure proactive issue resolution.

Change & Transition Management:
Support business readiness and change enablement activities to ensure smooth transitions during integration or separation. Coordinate with HR, operations, and communications teams to manage people and process impacts.

Regional Delivery Oversight:
Adapt delivery approaches to suit diverse regulatory, cultural, and operational environments across African markets while maintaining consistency in execution standards.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of senior delivery professionals. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering complex organisational integrations or separations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams in a regional or multi-market context.
- Expertise in agile delivery methodologies and enterprise change governance.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and regulatory landscapes across Africa.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
