The Partnerships Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of sales activities related to partnerships. This role will also manage the onboarding process for new partners and ensure a seamless order-to-cash process. The ideal candidate will collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and other departments to align the sales strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
Key Deliverables
Partnership Management:
- Develop, enable, and monetize an expanding set and ecosystem of partners including ISVs, Resellers, VARs, SIs, MSPs, and OEMs.
- Work with partners and internal teams (sales, customer success, marketing, legal, product, and engineering) to optimize joint selling and marketing strategies.
- Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship and maintain proper reporting metrics and funnel management.
- Perform quarterly partner reviews and enable partners through assets and relationship management.
Sales Operations:
- Design and implement sales processes, policies, and systems.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
- Analyse sales performance, trends, and metrics.
- Provide sales training, coaching, and support.
- Evaluate and optimize the sales technology stack.
- Coordinate sales incentives, compensation, and commissions.
- Resolve sales-related issues and escalations.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and markets.
Onboarding Process:
- Facilitate a smooth transition for new partners into the company.
- Ensure all aspects of the onboarding process, from paperwork to initial training, are handled efficiently.
- Connect with new partners to check if all necessary details were received.
- Manage the onboarding journey, including welcome videos, onboarding packs, and induction day notifications.
Order to Cash Process:
- Oversee the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline the process and resolve any issues.
- Monitor and report on the status of orders, from initiation to cash collection.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, partnerships management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of building and managing partnerships programs.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in sales technology and CRM systems.
