We are seeking a Skilled Signage Workshop Technician to join our team in a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom signage. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a range of materials including Perspex, aluminium, foamboard, and must be capable of light welding, lighting installations, and reading technical plans.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble signage using materials such as Perspex, aluminium, foamboard, etc.
- Perform light welding where required for structural support.
- Install signage lighting, including LED modules, strips, and backlighting systems.
- Interpret and follow design plans, layout drawings, and measurements accurately.
- Use basic hand and power tools to build, modify, and mount signage.
- Assist with on-site installations when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, neatly, and to a high-quality standard.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in signage fabrication or a similar workshop/handyman environment.
- Skilled in working with signage materials (Perspex, aluminium, foamboard).
- Basic light welding ability.
- Experience with signage lighting systems (LED modules, strips, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret plans and measurements.
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay: R6 500,00 - R8 500,00 per month
