Social Media & Community Specialist
Focus: Social Media Strategy | Organic Social I Content Creation | Community Building | UGC | Influencers | Visual Storytelling I Platform-native campaigns

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute tailored strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Own the social content calendar: daily content, launches, activations, brand moments.
- Coordinate with brand, creative, and digital teams for cohesive campaigns.
- Lead UGC strategy and dark posting to enhance authenticity and reach.
- Analyse platform insights to refine posting schedule and content mix.
Content Creation & Visual Storytelling
- Capture, edit, and post native social content — strong focus on video (Reels, TikToks).
- Attend shoots and events to capture BTS and real-time footage.
- Use trend intelligence to translate beauty/skincare culture into platform-appropriate content.
- Ensure all content is aligned with our tone of voice, values, and aesthetic.
- Use Later APP to plan and manage content pipeline.
Community & Influencer Management
- Engage daily with followers, respond to comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Build influencer relationships; coordinate seeding and social collaborations.
- Manage influencer campaigns and social contests to grow reach and email base.
- Support partnerships and PR through social-first storytelling and community activations.
Cross-Functional & Agency Collaboration
- Work closely with the Brand Manager to manage agency and vendor output.
- Liaise with photographers, videographers, and stylists for shoot logistics and brand alignment.
- Maintain consistency in brand presence across all organic touchpoints.
Ideal Profile:
- A highly creative thinker with visual storytelling skills and video editing proficiency (Reels, TikTok, CapCut, Adobe apps).
- Skilled in native content creation and platform nuances—what works where and why.
- Strong grasp of community building and relationship-based growth.
- Confident in both on-the-fly content capture and structured brand storytelling.
Essential Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or community management.
- Deep platform knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn — understands what performs where and why.
- Skilled in short-form video content creation and editing for Reels, TikToks, and Stories (using tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.).
- Proficient in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or basic Photoshop to create engaging social-first assets.
- Experience using Later (or similar scheduling tools) to manage and plan social calendars.
- Strong visual eye and storytelling ability that aligns with brand tone, style, and overall marketing strategy.
- Proven ability to grow and engage communities across platforms — including daily interaction, comment moderation, and DM responses.
- Experience working with influencers and UGC creators — from outreach and briefing to managing deliverables and posting.
- Confident collaborating with creatives (photographers, videographers, stylists) and attending shoots to capture on-site content.
- Organised and agile, able to pivot quickly and manage real-time content needs for events, BTS moments, and campaign activations.
- Analytical understanding of social metrics — including engagement rate, reach, saves, shares, follower growth, and video views — and how to translate them into actionable insights.
