We are on the lookout for a creative, strategic, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to join our team. Reporting to the head of marketing, in this role, you’ll take the lead on content strategy across platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora and Reddit, crafting impactful stories, managing social channels, and creating engaging video and written content that grows our brand and community. If you're a natural storyteller with a digital-first mindset and a sharp eye for strategy, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the content calendar: Plan, schedule, and manage social posts to ensure a consistent and on-brand presence across all platforms.
- Drive growth through strategy: Tailor content for each platform using performance data, trends, and audience insights to increase engagement and reach.
- Create compelling narratives: Develop creative, emotionally resonant content series that bring the Wellyx brand to life.
- Write with purpose: Craft persuasive, platform-optimized copy from captions and threads to longer posts that captures attention and drives action.
- Produce standout video content: Script, edit, and deliver high-quality short-form videos. On-camera presence isn’t required, but it’s a plus if you’re comfortable doing so.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with internal teams to align content with broader marketing and business goals.
- Analyze and optimize: Monitor performance metrics, test new formats, and iterate based on what’s working.
- Stay ahead of trends: Identify and leverage emerging content formats, cultural moments, and platform updates.
- Maintain brand consistency: Ensure a cohesive tone, look, and feel across all content and touchpoints.
What We’re Looking For
- Creative + strategic mindset: You’re both an idea machine and a data-driven thinker.
- Platform-native fluency: You understand how to create content that fits and thrives on each channel.
- Visual storytelling skills: You bring ideas to life through compelling visuals, even if you’re not in front of the camera.
- Exceptional writing: Your copy is clear, engaging, and tailored to convert.
- Tool proficiency: You’re experienced with Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Voice versatility: Whether it’s a professional LinkedIn post or a witty Twitter thread, you can match the tone to the platform.
- Trend-aware: You stay plugged into digital culture and know how to act quickly and authentically.
- Self-starter: You’re proactive, reliable, and thrive in independent work environments.
