About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our store management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising store staff, ensuring stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards of safety and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate store personnel, assign duties and monitor performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock takes and reconciliations.
- Supervise and oversee the receiving, dispatching, storage, and issuing of stock.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Implement and uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store.
- Compile and submit regular reports on stock levels and usage trends.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify and suggest improvements to store processes and stock control.
- Full implementation and support to company policies and processes.
- Overseeing and ensuring supplier recon control
- Ensuring stock holding Quality are maintained in accordance to company processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Optional)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or store environment preferably within the glass & aluminium industry
· At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the glass & aluminium industry
- Knowledgeable in inventory systems
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
- Sound understanding of storekeeping processes and warehouse safety
- Excellent organizational and supervising skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Physically fit and able to lift or move stock when necessary
- Willingness to work overtime when required
