The purpose of the Manager is to strategically drive the long-term evolution and efficiency of Pep's Supply Chain.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, coordination, and support to drive best-in-class engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. They will possess the operational discipline and strategic vision necessary to enhance performance throughout the value chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Long-term Supply Chain strategy
Develop and maintain the long-term (i.e. 10 year ) Supply Chain capacity plan
Ensure Supply Chain strategy aligns to Pep business strategy
Executes the business’ long term strategy through project delivery
Identifies and scopes projects to support business strategy
Identifies and prioritises projects
Management of Supply Chain projects CAPEX budget
Continuous improvement of Supply Chain Processes
Management of Supply Chain IT systems
Relationship Management
Leading and managing a team of Industrial Engineers
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:
Tertiary Qualification (i.e. Industrial Engineering)
15+ Years Supply Chain experience
5 - 8 Years experience in a leadership role
Experience in Supply Chain process integration and design
Experience in DC infrastructure design
Knowledge of Shipping; Transport and DC operations
Strong people management experience
Retail knowledge and experience
Project Management of large scale projects
