Purpose of Role: In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of our rugged industrial systems deployed at Sishen Mine, Kathu, Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Perform installation and commissioning of hardware and software systems at the client site.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of service activities.
- Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and providing training to customers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of WEIR Motion Metrics products.
- Maintain excellent quality of installation and service activities on the customer site.
- Act as WEIR Motion Metrics ambassador on the customer site.
- Adhere to the Safety, Health and Environmental Policies.
- Always adhere to the Duty of Care policy.
- Plan and conduct product installations, commissioning of new equipment and maintenance
- Carry out equipment inspections and provide the required feedback / reports to customers and internal
stakeholders
- Support clients by conducting regular meetings with maintenance teams, troubleshooting and providing solutions with the input of the client and Support Services Team.
- Coordinate with Engineering and maintenance Departments to ensure that tasks are completed, while adhering to quality control measures.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- IT Professional Certified. Artisan – Millwright/ Diesel Mechanic/ Electrician
- 3 – 5 years, dealing with installations in the Mining industry/heavy machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- In-depth troubleshooting of: Windows OS, Windows Server, Linux, SQL, MySQL, SMTP, POP, VPN
