Business Development Executive
One of our clients, a leading organisation in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to join their professional sales team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for entrepreneurship, transformation, and strategic business growth, who will play a key role in building strong B2B relationships and delivering impactful solutions across Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD), Skills Development, and Socio-Economic Development (SED). - A minimum of Matric or a relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ stable working experience.
- Proven experience in B2B consultative sales, ideally within the services industry.
- Strong ability to interact at C-suite level and build long-term professional relationships.
- Demonstrated belief in and commitment to entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with vehicle and willingness to travel for client meetings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities with potential corporate clients.
- Assess client needs and align them with tailored, high-impact solutions that address ESD, SED, and Skills Development objectives.
- Collaborate with internal proposal and delivery teams to create compelling business proposals.
- Maintain and update an active sales pipeline, consistently meeting set targets.
- Deliver weekly activity reports and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Build and nurture long-term, value-based client relationships to ensure repeat business and sustainable growth.
- Represent the organisation professionally, reflecting its values and commitment to driving transformation.
- Stay informed of market trends and evolving corporate compliance requirements to strengthen business opportunities.
- Applying a methodical, target-driven approach to sales and pipeline management.
