For the site in South Africa we are looking for you as a Buyer (m/f/d)
These challenges await you:
- Place purchase orders on approved suppliers.
- Confirm acceptance and supplier delivery date.
- Expedite outstanding orders proactively to ensure delivery.
- Attain quotations from freight forwarders/shipping agents.
- Report on purchase order status.
- Any other task as required by management from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric certificate or relevant qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement.
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience in mechanical/electrical components.
- Must have experience working on SAGE Evolution
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail orientated.
- Deadline driven
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
