We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Clerk: Inventory to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is based at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver, Cape Town and will be part of a very diverse and vibrant Finance team. We're a fully in-office team.
The Finance Clerk: Inventory will be responsible for reconciling stock count information received from stores, transporter claims and other stock-related administration duties.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
- 2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience
Preferred:
- Retail experience
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Grade 12 (Accountancy and/ or Maths)
Preferred:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree)
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Strong administration knowledge and ability
- Good knowledge of financial administration and basic accounting principles and their application (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations)
- Knowledge of Inventory process
- Basic transport/ logistics
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal skills
