Overview
We are a vibrant and forward-thinking estate agency in the UK looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to manage our online presence. This is a part-time, remote role ideal for someone with proven experience in content creation, social media management, and digital strategy.
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging content across our channels, supporting lead generation, and maintaining a consistent brand identity to grow our audience and generate instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Company marketing strategy
- Work with the directors to form a formal company marketing strategy
- Build brand guidelines giving clear definition
- Build and implement a digital marketing strategy including a social media strategy
Social Media Management
- Create and publish 7 bespoke posts per week on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google My Business
- Design branded graphics using Canva
- Schedule content with previews one week in advance
- Respond to direct messages and engage with followers
Video Content Creation
- Edit and post 3 short-form videos per week across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Provide 2 sofa chat topics per week (1 sales-focused, 1 lettings-focused) for in-house team to record
- Provide scripts for quarterly adverts for both sales and lettings
Blog & Content Writing
- Write 2 SEO-friendly blog post per week (1 sales-focused, 1 lettings-focused) using ChatGPT and keyword research. These should tie in with the sofa chat topics for the week
- Focus on property market updates, tips, area guides, and buyer/seller/landlord content
- Upload and format posts for the agency website
Lead Generation & Email Marketing
- Create digital assets such as e-guides, checklists, and lead magnets
- Support 2 monthly email nurture campaigns via Spectre
- Help shape messaging to convert valuation leads into instructions
SEO & Performance Reporting
- Conduct keyword research and tracking
- Build and maintain local citations
- Complete basic on-page optimisation
- Generate monthly reports on blog traffic, social engagement, and overall reach
What You’ll Need
- Qualification or hands-on experience in digital marketing or a related field
- Social media management and content scheduling experience
- Strong design skills using Canva or Adobe tools
- Ability to edit short-form video content
- Excellent written English and copywriting skills
- Familiarity with SEO principles and AI tools like ChatGPT
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R15 000,00 - R17 000,00 per month
Expected hours: 20 per week
