RCL FOODS is seeking a strategic leader to champion manufacturing excellence across our operations as a Group Manufacturing Excellence Executive. This role is pivotal in driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement by defining standards, building capabilities, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. You’ll be at the forefront of transforming our manufacturing landscape, ensuring alignment with industry best practices to achieve operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Define and implement continuous improvement strategies and problem-solving tools.
- Design and optimize manufacturing organizational structures and standard roles.
- Build manufacturing capabilities through training and development programs.
- Establish and enforce manufacturing routines, standards, and compliance.
- Set performance benchmarks and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead innovation and benchmarking initiatives to elevate manufacturing excellence.
- Develop and execute manufacturing maturity assessments and roadmaps.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and talent development within the manufacturing community.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- NQF Level 7, Engineering Degree/B-Tech/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Technical, or Industrial fields
- Lean Six Sigma Certification, Manufacturing Excellence Instructor (Preferred)
- Professional Registration: WCM/TPM (Preferred)
Experience:
- Up to 12 years in manufacturing, with strong operational execution and leadership experience
- Proven track record in implementing manufacturing excellence initiatives
Competencies:
- Strategic leadership in coaching, change management, collaboration, and results delivery
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and innovation capabilities
- Ability to influence, adapt, and drive cross-functional excellence
