We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll using Sage 300. This role focuses on supporting payroll operations, maintaining accurate employee data, and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation while providing administrative support to the HR team.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Diploma or Certificate in Payroll, HR, or related field (advantageous).
- 2–3 years’ experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with Sage 300 Payroll (essential).
- Basic understanding of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll on Sage 300.
- Capture and update employee information and payroll changes (new hires, terminations, benefits, deductions).
- Support the payroll team with reconciliation of payroll data and generation of reports.
- Maintain and organise payroll records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing statutory submissions and payments (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
- Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company payroll policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department when required.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Working knowledge of Sage 300 Payroll.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge & Advantages:
- Knowledge of basic HR practices.
- Exposure to payroll reconciliations.
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-country payroll environment (advantageous).

Pay: R17 500,00 - R20 000,00 per month
