Dear Future, Recovery AnalystThe role is responsible Management of External Debt Collectors (EDC). Monitoring and managing performance of the portfolio and EDC. Strategic thinker. Strong stakeholder management abilities.
In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
Are you someone who can:
- Driving the strategic plans of the bank and ensuring alignment of these plans through EDCs and the Customer;
- Implementing and clearly communicating KPIs with the EDCs
- Ensuring the KPI deliverables and performance of the EDCs are met;
- Ensuring regulatory, legislative and internal policy requirements are adhered to;
- Managing high risk queries/matters (defended matters/OBS queries/media /CEOetc) by addressing the potential risk and minimising same.
- Providing input into enhancing the current collection performance, processes and policies
- Analysing and interpreting data/performance in order to improve the performance of the portfolio
- Identifying and addressing development needs with EDCs;
- Providing the EDC with necessary resources/support, in the form of allocation of training, coaching etc to improve performance.
- Attend meetings relating to internal portfolio requirements as well as EDC performance meetings (daily/weekly/monthly);(onsite & off site)
- Ensuring consequence management of EDCs who do not perform by applying the correct processes;
- Ensuring all legal documents (affidavits, cobs) are submitted to EDCs timeously to prevent delays in legal processes conducted by EDCs
- Provide support in customer complaint resolution as and when required
- Critical thinking and reasoning skills – ability to pursue things logically.
- Build relationships with both internal and external business partners.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the bank optional with relevant experience
- Diploma/degree
