Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and onboard strategic partners including accountants, consultants, lenders, recruiters, supply-chain reps, and industry influencers.
- Referral Network Growth: Build and manage a referral ecosystem that generates high-quality introductions to practice owners.
- Relationship Management: Develop deep, trust-based relationships with key centers of influence (COIs) through regular touchpoints, events, and personalized outreach.
- Campaigns & Incentives: Design and implement referral campaigns, recognition programs, and co-branded initiatives to keep partners engaged.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on veterinary industry trends, competitor movements, and M&A activity to strengthen conversations and identify new opportunities.
- Pipeline Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure referrals are tracked, nurtured, and converted effectively.
- Events & Thought Leadership: Represent [Company Name] at conferences, webinars, and networking events to promote the brand and attract new partners.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years in business development, partnerships, sales, or related role (experience in veterinary, healthcare, or professional services preferred).
- Proven track record of building referral networks and closing partnership deals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with ability to design win–win partnership structures.
- Comfortable with outbound networking, event participation, and executive-level conversations.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel).
