SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER VACANCY

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale projects from tendering to completion, ensuring all deliverables align with contractual obligations and company standards
- Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive project quality plans to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and industry best practices
- Oversee engineering disciplines, ensuring that all inputs (specifications, budgets, timelines) are met and deliverables are technically sound, cost-effective, and on schedule
- Manage procurement processes, including preparing enquiry documents, adjudicating supplier proposals, and ensuring accurate purchase orders and approvals
- Ensure legal, contractual, and health and safety compliance across all project phases while adhering to both internal and external regulatory frameworks
- Monitor and control project budgets and cash flow, including preparing financial reports, tracking variances, managing expenses, and implementing corrective actions
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, communicating any significant risks to senior leadership
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that client expectations are met and communication is transparent and professional
- Ensure continuous improvement in project execution processes by identifying and addressing non-conformities and root causes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and act as a Project Manager or Project Engineer when required
Qualifications
- A BSc/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on water, mining, or industrial projects
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards, including a demonstrated ability to apply risk-based thinking and the process approach
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of commercial, legal, and contractual project aspects
