We’re looking for an experienced SEO Lead/Manager to elevate the success of our cutting-edge software, Wellyx. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our product and sales teams to implement global marketing strategies. Please note that the role will be fully remote, working hours will be South African time Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm (daylight savings dependent).
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Take SEO, SEM, and digital marketing initiatives from start to finish, encompassing market analysis, strategy formulation, project planning, execution, optimization, performance assessment, and reporting.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies in alignment with corporate goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to uncover opportunities, assess competitors, and understand customer preferences.
- Orchestrate and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
- Develop and refine content for diverse marketing platforms, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
- Track campaign performance, interpret vital metrics, and fine-tune strategies to achieve optimal results.
- Inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team, offering guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels and communications.
- Establish and enforce brand guidelines to maintain a unified brand image.
- Partner with creative teams to produce compelling and consistent visuals and messaging.
- Employ analytics tools to evaluate the success of marketing efforts.
- Compile regular reports on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
- Strategize, execute and monitor social media campaigns to boost brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Analyse the effectiveness of social media and email marketing campaigns and adjust tactics for enhanced outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a SEO/marketing manager in a Saas market.
- Proven track record of driving growth and achieving business development goals in fast-growth environments.
- Previous SEO team management experience
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- A thorough understanding of Google Trends and Updates to boost organic ranking and predict the results of current strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
