The Brand Support Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Brand Manager and Marketing team to ensure the smooth execution of brand, marketing, and communication initiatives. Acting as the central hub between internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders, this role ensures that projects run on time, align with brand guidelines, and deliver impact. The Brand Support Coordinator is highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment — ensuring that creative ideas and brand strategies are translated into seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and branding projects across multiple channels (digital, print, social, internal platforms).
- Track timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Act as the link between departments and suppliers (designers, printers, videographers, etc.), ensuring clear communication and follow-up.
- Assist with post-campaign reporting, insights, and continuous improvement.
2. Marketing Asset & Content Support
- Manage and distribute updated brand assets (brochures, presentations, logos, CI files, templates, videos).
- Assist with editing, formatting, and packaging of content for digital and print use.
- Maintain shared folders and filing systems for easy access to images, artwork, and design files.
- Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and CI compliance.
3. Internal Request & Workflow Management
- Field and prioritise marketing/branding requests from HR, Sales, Operations, and other departments.
- Clarify requirements, prepare simple briefs, and escalate complex matters to the Brand Manager.
- Streamline ad hoc and urgent requests in a structured, brand-compliant manner.
4. Internal Brand Engagement & Activations
- Support the planning and logistics of staff engagement campaigns and initiatives, such as:
– Mandela Day
– Women’s Month / Mother’s Day activations
– Food Safety Week
– Wellness Days
– Kick-off events, Manco sessions - Assist with internal communication rollouts (eNewz, Coffee Talk, eBuntu) by collecting stories, images, and feedback.
- Coordinate material distribution and support on-site activations where needed.
5. Event & Activation Logistics
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, exhibitions, client activations, and graduation ceremonies.
- Ensure promotional items, banners, and branded collateral are prepared and delivered on time.
- Support logistics such as supplier management, venue bookings, RSVP lists, and day-of coordination.
6. Administration & General Support
- Assist the Brand Manager with scheduling, meeting minutes
- Maintain calendars, trackers, and checklists for marketing activities.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input when required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years’ experience in brand/marketing coordination, project support, or related roles.
- Exposure to both internal engagement campaigns and external marketing projects will be beneficial.
