Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 | National Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Related qualification would be beneficial
- 3-5 years of experience in Vehicle Asset Finance collections required
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory position
- Understanding and/or experience of the Collections & Recoveries cradle to grave environment would be beneficial (Debt Review / Asset Management / Legal / Off Balance Sheet Recoveries)
Duties and Responsibilities
- To achieve departmental targets as well as per team collection targets in terms of Rand Value Collected; % to instalment and % to arrear collections; NPL, Roll Rates and Cure Rates.
- Conduct call audits to ensure quality and identify areas of development
- Ensure the team is correctly staffed and timeously complete the requisition for recruitment and recruit the right skills
- Conduct regular performance discussions with collections teams to monitor and review operational performance against the plan with the team to improve and achieve the required operational results
- Rectify non-conformance and performance variances within the team
- Continuously assess the need for training or performance improvement of individual team members and implement actions plans to enhance overall team performance
- Relate and communicate all new or revised policies and procedures and/or processes to team members to ensure up-to-date and current information
- Support team members by sharing knowledge, information, and problem-solving recommendation to achieve the required operational results
- Co-ordinate leave requests to consistently have the required capacity within a team to meet operational requirements
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the various product offerings within the Company to adhere to the required service standards
- Manage and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals.
