RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
- Cut and prepare meat, dishes and other ingredients
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including counting inventory and placing orders
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide training as necessary
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and restaurant areas
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong references from previous employers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Sober, clean and hardworking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Own reliable transport
