About the role:
Legalwise seeks to employ a Field Sales Manager to recruit and train Independent Contractors and seeing to their accreditation in accordance with legislative requirements. The incumbent will further have to effectively and efficiently manage appointed Independent Contractors in accordance with set sales targets, plan, budget and execute sales drives and motivate and assist Independent Contractors with quality sales of the LEZA products.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing sales drives in order to achieve sales volume and quality standards.
- Ensuring Independent Contractors are trained and accredited by LifeWise before allowing them to sell policies.
- Planning and managing appointments and sales events for Independent Contractors.
- Motivating and assisting Independent Contractors to achieve sales volume and quality standards.
- Quality control of new business submitted by Independent Contractors.
- Engagement and relationship building with stakeholders in the field.
- Management of company assets.
- Reporting on activities and sales productivity.
- Delivering presentations at work sites.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Matric or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of two year’s sales experience.
- Previous sales managerial / supervisory experience is essential.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Must have the ability to build rapport with people quickly.
- Excellent sales skills.
- Able to liaise professionally and effectively at many organisational levels.
- Proven ability to build a successful sales team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong managerial skills with a focus on developing others.
- Very good problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges.
- Have an understanding of the Treating Customers Fairly principles, and exemplifies these principles in all business interactions.
- Good ability to plan and organise.
- Sound time management skills.
- Good quality control skills.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and PDP essential.
- Clear ITC and criminal check will be a requirement.
