An Exciting Career Opportunity Exists for a Field Service Technician based in Northriding
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of Aesculap equipment, including power systems, instruments, scopes and containers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a permanent position based in Northridng.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform upliftment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Aesculap equipment, including power systems, instruments, containers, and robotic microscopes.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide training and support to ASE’s and other team members as needed. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
- N6 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage. Professional certifications in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 will be an advantage.
