Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bellville for a Scale Technician. The Scale Technician will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of various weighing scales and measuring instruments. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring equipment accuracy, performing routine inspections, and providing customer support related to scale operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of weighing scales and measuring instruments
- Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal and customer support skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
- Technical certification or relevant qualifications in electronics is a plus
- Valid licence is required
