Responsibilities:
- Standard Bookkeeping and ensure smooth day to day running of accounts department.
- Accounts receivable: monthly invoicing and assist with credit control
- Accounting for VAT and drafting returns
- Collecting Payroll information, liaising with employees and accounting agency. Finalising payroll schedule and preparing bank files when necessary.
- Accounts payable: processing purchase invoices, preparing payment runs and setting up bank payments.
- Preparing month end accounts, reconciliations and adjustments of accounts.
- Assisting with some HR tasks
- Monitoring of expenses
- Assist with some office administrative tasks
Skills and Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification
- 2 years experience in bookkeeping
- Computer skills, experience using cloud accounting will be advantageous
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Organizing and planning skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player, honest and dependable
- Strong client and customer service skills
- Cost awareness
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
