A well established wood manufacturing company situated in Phoenix , Industrial Park seeks to employ the services of a Furniture Field Sales Representative ;
Duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to;
- Actively scan the market—through industry events, digital channels and direct outreach—to uncover and qualify high-value prospects
- Working seamlessly with design, project management, operations and marketing teams to co-create tailored solutions, accelerate response times and maximize win rates.
- Leading consultative discussions with senior stakeholders, earning their trust and converting conversations into long-term partnerships.
- Navigate complex deal cycles with tenacity
- Overcoming objections
- Gathering client and competitor feedback, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive continuous improvement
- Provide detailed information on furniture products, including materials, styles, and functionality
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory and restock displays as needed
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues and challenges promptly
- Assessing customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable furniture options
- Demonstrating product features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Providing guidance on furniture measurements, delivery, and assembly
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current furniture styles, trends, and available inventory
- Collaborating with the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales goals
- Accurately processing customer orders and payments
- Ensuring Customers adhere to payment arrangement, pay on time and maintain a clean and healthy account history /profile
- Providing post-sales support and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
- Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
- Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
- Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
- Present products and services to prospective customers
- Participating in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
- Monitor competition within assigned region
- Prepare and submit sales reports
- Meeting personal and team sales quotas
- Working with various teams to maximize sales and profits
- Building relationships with customers
- Managing multiple customer account at once
- Acting as a reliable brand representative across customer facing interactions
- Spreading awareness about problems and educating customers on how the brands products and services can help resolve them
- Carry out any legal instruction or task assigned by a superior
Job Requirements
- 5 years plus proven work experience as a Furniture Field Sales & Client Support Representative, or in a similar position .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding experience in dealing with different personalities
- Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to deal with stressful situations
- Client-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.

- Extensive travel required
- Overtime, holiday and weekend work may be required for job and operational reasons
Educational requirements;
- Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualification in Sales in Furniture Industry and Client Services
- Proven work experience as a Client Support Representative, Client Support Specialist, or a similar position in the Client Service department.
- Advanced Computer and communication skills.
- Speak, read, write English fluently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within B2B sales in Furniture Industry
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build relationships.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and CRM system
