Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- Tertiary qualification in Social work/ Psychology or equivalent
- HR management Diploma/ Honors psychology is an added advantage
- Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
- Registration with professional council bodies i.e SACSSP OR HPCSA
- Registration with EAPA-SA is an additional advantage
- 3 years experience in employee Wellness
Primary Duties
- Conduct proactive Wellness programs
- Advise line managers on managing absenteeism effectively
- Provide confidential and therapeutic counselling services
- To ensure an efficient administrative system of Wellness interventions
- Maintain an effective system for the Wellness of staff and their families
- To train supervisors and line managers on EAP management referral systems
- Network and liaise with external Wellness service providers
- Managing Wellness sectional assets
- To service the business on managing ill health incapacity cases
- Coordinate long-service and retirement functions for the employees at site
Knowledge
- Minimum knowledge of relevant legislation: Child Care Act, OHS Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Public Financial Management Act, Professional Code of Ethics (SACSSP /HPCSA), EAPA Standards.
