The purpose of the role is: To manage, co-ordinate, organise, control and monitor all administrative aspects of multiple residences as per the standards and requirements set out by Metrorez. This is a highly administrative role, with full understanding of the university and tvet nsfsas and bursary funding and intake model essential.
- Administrative Management:\Handling student applications, managing occupancy records, maintaining accurate records of residence activities, and ensuring efficient and accurate data capturing
- Student Support:
- Serving as a point of contact for student inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support, and addressing issues related to student funding and nsfas related quierries
Qualification
- Diploma or degree
- Business Administration and related
- relevant practical management experience within the residence / hospitality / facilities environment
- Excellent client, service, people and student orientation

- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- An in-depth knowledge of residence rules, regulations and processes.
- An in-depth knowledge of university procedures and policies relating to student finance, admission, disability,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, and very good at understanding systems
- Manages financial and budgetary issues of a particular residence
- Assists the residence admissions with registration of residence students in residence
