We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Logistics Intern to support our Supply Chain & Operations team. As a Logistics Intern, you will play a key role in assisting our logistics team with day-to-day operations, helping to streamline processes, coordinate delivery loads, and support inventory and warehouse management functions.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma NQF 6 in Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a proactive mindset
- Basic Supply Chain Knowledge- Understanding of logistics, and transportation.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures.
- Time Management
- Relevant Legislative knowledge (Road Traffic & OHS legislation)
- Driver’s license and own transport
- Team Player
- Willingness to Learn
Duties & Responsibilities
- Check returns and report returned stock to the supervisors
- Clear Optic videos for minor events
- De-briefing trips on Vantage
- Following up with GRVs
- Pull speeding reports
- Pull under rest reports
- Gather km readings on Wednesday and Friday
- General administration duties
- Assist with inbound and outbound logistics coordination
- Support inventory tracking and reconciliation activities
- Help maintain logistics documentation and records
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Support reporting and data analysis related to supply chain KPIs
Duties and responsibilities are, however, not limited to this, all reasonable and lawful requests within
your scope of work/abilities given by management are to be followed whether this is inside or outside the
factories
