Job Title: Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Specialist

Job Purpose:
To ensure the efficient planning, scheduling, and procurement of materials required for the production and maintenance of earth-moving equipment. The MRP Specialist will optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and support production timelines through accurate forecasting and coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MRP systems to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to align material planning with operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid shortages or excess.
- Identify and resolve material supply issues that could impact production.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions and planning data.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in MRP or supply chain planning, preferably in the earth-moving or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and BOM (Bill of Materials) structures.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory optimization techniques.
