Key Output
- Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance and repairs as per OEM requirements.
- Systematic and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose machine systems problems and carry out
repairs on earthmoving equipment on customer sites.
- Compile accurate customer machine reports that include failure analysis, condition, service,
Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis reports (TA’s).
- Maintain professional image when representing BWE.
- Work on specific customer sites as per customer requirements when required.
- Ensure complying to safe work practices when working on machines.
- Maintain and control Contamination Control Standards.
- Responsible and Control of own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, etc.)
- Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and
- accurately maintained (ISO standards)

Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Qualified Artisan or Applicable Engineering Diploma / Degree
- Minimum 5 years management experience in the customer interface.
- Good knowledge of Earthmoving equipment and relevant industry;
- Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines;
- Willing to travel as and when required.
- Show initiative by thinking creatively;
- High level of computer literacy (including relevant SAP exposure);
- Minimum 3 years management experience in the customer interface.
- Good knowledge of Caterpillar components and relevant industry;
- Knowledge of CAT ET,SIS, SIMSi and DSN- advantageous
- Knowledge of CAT Warranty processes - advantageous
