We are seeking a talented and versatile Mid-Level Digital Designer to join our in-house Strategies and Partnerships team. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail, the ability to work within established brand guidelines, and the confidence to bring fresh, on-brand ideas to life. You will produce high-quality creative assets across digital and print channels that align with Pele’s strategic objectives, corporate identity, and messaging pillars.
Requirements
Creative Design & Production
- Develop and execute engaging creative concepts and designs for marketing campaigns, corporate communications, internal projects, and events.
- Produce digital assets including social media graphics, email banners, website visuals, presentations, and infographics.
- Create high-quality print collateral such as brochures, reports, invitations, signage, event branding and internal campaign assets.
- Adapt and repurpose creative materials for different formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all design work aligns with Pele’s corporate identity, tone, and visual standards.
- Work closely with the Brand Custodian to refresh and evolve design templates where needed.
- Support brand rollouts and design applications across multiple subsidiaries and project divisions (Pele Energy Group, Pele Green Energy, Knowledge Pele).
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work in tandem with the Strategies and Partnerships team and Brand Custodian to interpret creative briefs and deliver compelling visual solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Liaise with external printers, photographers, and other suppliers where necessary.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative input to campaign concepts and initiatives.
Technical & Process
- Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
- Maintain an organised design file library and asset database on Pele Internal CRM.
- Implement feedback effectively while maintaining design integrity.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Diploma or degree in Digital Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ professional design experience (preferably in an in-house or agency environment).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing for both print and digital channels.
- Ability to interpret and execute creative briefs with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Advantageous:
- Experience in motion graphics, video editing, or animation (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other collaborative design tools.
- Experience working with corporate/renewable energy or sustainability brands.
- Knowledge of social media best practices and digital content optimisation
