Job Description
Seeking a Network Administrator to support and maintain network infrastructure operations while following established company governance and procedural processes. The position requires a technical professional who can execute network implementations, provide technical support, and maintain the reliability of our enterprise technology stack including PaloAlto firewalls, Mellanox core switches, Arista routers, Saisei internet shaping, Cisco Meraki switching and WiFi infrastructure, and VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
As a key technical contributor, you will be expected to demonstrate solid troubleshooting capabilities, support network implementations, and assist with network and firewall issues while ensuring the performance and availability of this diverse, enterprise-grade infrastructure in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Projects & Implementation (40%) - Execute network infrastructure projects including equipment installations, configuration deployments, network migrations, and technology implementations under senior guidance and project specifications
- Maintenance (25%) - Perform scheduled network maintenance activities, conduct preventive maintenance on network equipment, apply firmware updates, and ensure optimal performance of network infrastructure components
- Technical Support & Knowledge Transfer (15%) - Provide first and second-level technical support for network issues, document solutions and procedures, assist in knowledge sharing sessions, and support team training initiatives
- Critical Issue Management (10%) - Respond to network incidents, assist in troubleshooting efforts, escalate complex issues appropriately, and participate in incident response activities following established procedures
- Reporting & Documentation (10%) - Maintain accurate network documentation, generate routine performance reports, update network diagrams and configurations, and contribute to standard operating procedure development
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Certifications & Experience: CCNA certification or equivalent, and 3+ years of network infrastructure experience
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of routing and switching, firewall basics, network troubleshooting, TCP/IP protocols, and multi-vendor network equipment
- Hands-on Experience: Experience with Cisco networking equipment, basic firewall configuration, network monitoring tools, and enterprise network environments
- Professional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to follow established procedures and governance processes
Preferred Qualifications Additional Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Cisco CCNA Security
- PaloAlto PCNSA certification
- Vendor-specific certifications (Arista, Mellanox)
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Position requires ability to work under guidance while developing independence
- Occasional after-hours support during maintenance windows and incidents
- Collaboration with senior network staff and cross-functional teams
- Some travel may be required for equipment installations or training
- Participation in on-call rotation for infrastructure support
- Strict adherence to company governance, change management, and procedural processes
