We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Online Business Manager (OBM) / Executive Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team. This hybrid role will shift between strategic operations and executive-level support, depending on business needs.
As an OBM, you’ll help us recognize, define, and build out processes, strategize business operations, and identify and fix inefficiencies. As an Executive VA, you’ll assist with project and client management, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a remote, part-time position (10–20 hours per week to start) with the potential to grow.
Responsibilities
As an OBM:
- Analyze operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Create, document, and optimize processes and SOPs
- Oversee systems, workflows, and team accountability
- Assist in strategic planning and business growth initiatives
As an Executive VA:
- Manage client communications and projects
- Coordinate calendars, inboxes, and scheduling
- Assist with research, reporting, and follow-ups
- Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as an OBM, Executive VA, or similar role
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Airtable, or Notion
Preferred Skills
- Experience in logistics, marketing, or client service-based businesses
- Knowledge of workflow automation or CRM platforms
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and projects
Compensation & Details
- Rate: R260–R430 per hour (based on experience)
- Hours: 10–20 hours weekly to start, with potential to increase
- Location: Remote (must be available for some overlap with US business hours)
