Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our busy veterinary practice and vet shop on a part-time basis.
Position Details:
- Full day on Saturdays
- Additional weekday hours may be required to provide cover for full-time staff when needed
- Salary commensurate with experience (to be discussed during the interview process)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year’s customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer care abilities, with a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine love for animals
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting clients in person and over the phone
- Booking and managing appointments
- Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with queries related to both the veterinary practice and the vet shop
- Supporting the veterinary team with administrative duties as needed
- Ensuring the shop is well stocked, organised, and presents professionally
- Maintaining sanitary work surfaces and a clean, welcoming environment at all times
