About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Personal Assistant / Creditors / Admin Clerk to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, proven experience with Xero accounting software, and excellent administrative skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management, handling creditors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process creditors, reconciliations, and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software.
- Provide administrative support to management, including scheduling, correspondence, and office organisation.
- Assist with general accounting tasks and reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Support operational requirements as needed, particularly within a hospitality-focused business environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting and creditors management (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software (non-negotiable).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry will be a distinct advantage.
- Must be based in or near Blouberg / Melkbosstrand, Cape Town.
