What will you do?
- Manage and coordinate plant operations to achieve the best possible performance targets, by company standards and procedures.
- Promote successful long-term business strategies through effective, open two-way communication and feedback.
- Effectively manage manpower, overseeing staff preparation and development.
- Represent the Company towards third parties (e.g., Customers) and local authorities when necessary.
- Manages and coordinates Plant activities in the following areas: Production, Technical matters, Logistics, and Quality.
- Oversees all daily production operations of the Plant to ensure efficient inbound/outbound logistics operations, production output, and product quality.
- Participates in drafting and analyzing budgets and forecasts for the Plant.
- Monitors and devises improvements related to the plant’s KPI (MOL/VA, material Yield, conformity rate, productivity index, and 5S)
- Generates and implements improvement plans to reduce costs and improve plant performance, acting on manpower management, energy efficiency, and process automation, applying WCM practices.
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
- Excellent applied knowledge of WCM standards
- Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices
- Good knowledge of the supply chain process
- Basic knowledge of CAD 2D software
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferable or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production or Plant Manager in an FMCG or Automotive company
