Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant to join our transformation initiative involving SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors deployment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll processes and configuration, compliance with local legislation, and seamless integration with core SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, implement, and support SAP Payroll solutions (SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll).
Lead and deliver at least three (3) full-cycle SAP Payroll implementations.
Ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements across various countries.
Configure and optimize payroll schemas, wage types, time evaluation integration, and payroll posting to Finance.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including testing, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities.
Integrate SAP Payroll with Time Management, Personnel Administration, and Finance modules.
Support parallel payroll runs, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-go-live activities.
Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments.
Engage stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Participate in SAP transformation projects involving hybrid deployment models (e.g., SAP HCM + EC Payroll).
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience as a SAP Payroll Consultant.
Proven success in 3 full-cycle payroll implementations (SAP HCM or EC Payroll).
Demonstrated expertise in:
Payroll schemas and wage types
Integration with Finance
Local payroll compliance requirements
Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders.
Certifications (Required - must hold at least one):
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM for SAP S/4HANA
Preferred Skills
Experience with global payroll operations and country-specific payroll nuances.
Familiarity with hybrid SAP HCM/SuccessFactors architecture.
Agile project delivery experience.
