Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant specializing in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to lead the functional design and implementation of core HR processes as part of a global HR transformation program. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Employee Central, a strong understanding of HR operations, and a proven ability to deliver full-cycle implementations that align with both global strategy and local compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central modules.
Deliver end-to-end functional consulting across the following areas:
Employee Records
Time and Attendance
Position Management
Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, effective solutions.
Configure business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions (RBP) in alignment with HR policies.
Manage data models, foundation objects, and XML-based configurations.
Support integration with downstream systems such as Employee Central Payroll or third-party payroll providers, and upstream integration with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP modules.
Produce and maintain high-quality functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and user documentation.
Lead and participate in solution testing, user training, and change management initiatives.
Stay current with SAP SuccessFactors product updates and best practices, including Delta releases.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Functional Consultant focused on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Successfully delivered at least 4 full-cycle implementations of Employee Central.
Hands-on configuration experience with:
Employee Records
Time and Attendance
Position Management
Strong knowledge of:
Business rules, workflow management
Role-based permissions (RBP)
Foundation objects and data models
XML configuration
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, write functional specifications, lead testing, and deliver user training.
Certifications (Required)
Valid SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Must also hold the latest Delta Certification to reflect current product knowledge.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working in multi-country, fast-paced transformation environments.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery and collaboration tools.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
