Purpose of the job
We are looking for a strategically minded, delivery-focused Senior Campaign Manager to oversee the operations, resource planning, and performance of our global communications enablement function. You’ll lead a team of Campaign Managers, Traffic Managers, and Executives, ensuring campaign delivery is aligned with business priorities, strategically sequenced, and executed with excellence.
This is a senior team leadership role — ideal for someone who combines hands-on delivery capability with process rigour, stakeholder diplomacy, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a busy, multi-channel campaign environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with the VP of Channel Communications, Head of Marketing Operations, and senior stakeholders across Content, Brand, Digital, Data, and Regional Marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Campaign Operations
- Shape and embed best practices for campaign planning, briefing, execution, and reporting
- Oversee the full end-to-end delivery of all lifecycle communications, Newsletters and targeted campaigns across consumer and partners, ensuring Campaign Managers are equipped with the required tools and resources to execute
- Own, maintain, and deliver against a strategic 120-day plan aligned with business objectives, , including BAU and project workstreams
- Drive proactive resourcing, cross-team planning, and prioritisation with regional and audience leads
- Ability and understanding of planning end-to-end campaigns with content and data teams when required
Strategic Campaign Operations
- Shape and embed best practices for campaign planning, briefing, execution, and reporting
- Oversee the full end-to-end delivery of all lifecycle communications, Newsletters and targeted campaigns across consumer and partners, ensuring Campaign Managers are equipped with the required tools and resources to execute
- Own, maintain, and deliver against a strategic 120-day plan aligned with business objectives, , including BAU and project workstreams
- Drive proactive resourcing, cross-team planning, and prioritisation with regional and audience leads
- Ability and understanding of planning end-to-end campaigns with content and data teams when required
Performance & Reporting
- Evolve and embed campaign performance reporting standards and governance working with SME’s and data teams
- Lead monthly and quarterly campaign and communications performance reviews with relevant stakeholders
- Use insight to make recommendations on future campaigns and communications
Process & Tooling Leadership
- Lead continuous improvement of planning, tracking, briefing and QA processes along the Traffic/Project Manager
- Govern platform usage of teams (with Traffic/Project Manager) (e.g. Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to ensure consistency and effectiveness
- Standardise intake, approval, and delivery documentation across various teams and stakeholders
Stakeholder Alignment & Escalation Point
- Serve as the key delivery escalation point for all campaign activity
- Work with the VP of Channel Communications to align campaign sequencing with channel capacity
- Manage key relationships with SMEs, content leads, digital, legal, strategy and data functions
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and grow the Campaign and Traffic Management team – supporting in tasks, mentoring for upskilling requirements and opportunities and ensuring best practice knowledge is shared and understood
- Partner with Marketing Ops and HR on long-term team growth and capacity modelling
- Raise blockers and make recommendations on structure, tools and workflow to the business
Key skills
- 7–10 years' experience in marketing delivery, campaign operations, or marketing project leadership
- Proven experience managing multi-role teams (campaign, traffic, ops) in a comms-heavy environment
- Strong command of campaign channel mechanics (Email, SMS, Push, In-App, Web)
- Deep experience with Martech/workflow tools – e.g. Jira, Aha!, Confluence, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Able to navigate senior stakeholder relationships and balance conflicting priorities
- Experience aligning teams across BAU and transformation delivery tracks
