About the Opportunity
As our Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – Geology, based in Johannesburg, you will be at the forefront of demonstrating Micromine’s cutting-edge geology solutions to miners, geologists and executives across Africa, Middle East and Europe. From delivering compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, to supporting tenders, campaigns and conferences, you will play a key role in driving our growth.
You will collaborate closely with Business Development Managers to design tailored solutions that address real mining challenges, ensuring our clients see – and achieve – the value in what we deliver. Other responsibilities include:
- Support system implementations and training to achieve client success.
- Influence product development through client feedback and testing.
About You
To succeed in this role, you are a geologist with deep mining experience and a passion for technology. You enjoy connecting with people and you have to ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels. Other requirements are:
- A tertiary qualification in Geology.
- 3+ years mining industry experience across geology, data management, resource modelling and grade control.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and solutions-focused mindset.
- Availability to travel within Africa, Middle East and Europe
- Multilingual – French, Portugues, desirable
