Servest Security, a leader in intelligent, tech-enabled security services, is seeking a dynamic Technology Solution Specialist to drive our technology strategy and solutions. This pivotal role blends technical design, implement and maintain security solutions; pricing, innovation, and business development – ensuring we stay ahead in delivering smart, compliant, and effective security technology.
Minimum Requirements
- Higher certificate, diploma or degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, Security Technology, or related field or evidenced based recognition of prior learning (preferred).
- Certifications in industry-relevant platforms (e.g., Milestone, Hikvision, Gallagher, Genetec, Avigilon) are highly advantageous.
- PSIRA registered (or eligible for registration) and knowledge of security compliance standards.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a technical security solutions role within the private security, systems integration, or technology sector.
- Demonstrable experience in solution design, costing, sales engagement, and project execution.
- Familiar with system architecture design, product selection and integration principles.
- Strong understanding of modern security technologies: video analytics, biometric systems, smart security, intrusion detection, remote monitoring, AI & automation in security.
- Proven ability to engage with OEMs, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
- Experience with client SLAs, maintenance planning, and support service delivery frameworks.

Duties & Responsibilities
- This involves creating secure infrastructure networking solutions, architecture design, device selection, technical configuration etc. tailoring them to customer needs, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Providing expert advice on security solutions, helping customers understand their needs, and presenting solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Design tailored, scalable security technology solutions (access control, surveillance, analytics, alarms, IoT, etc.)
- Develop pricing models, proposals, and cost-effective solutions to improve margin and ensure sustainability.
- Conducting site surveys and client assessments to tailor security solutions.
- Source and close new business opportunities in both existing and untapped markets.
- Identifying unmet needs and untapped revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
- Identify and negotiate with credible partners to enhance our product and service portfolio.
- Working with technology partners, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Oversee end-to-end solution deployment with accountability for timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure SLA compliance, maintenance planning, and ongoing service improvement.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, legal requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Tracking leads, managing the sales pipeline, and forecasting sales.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales process, including but not limited to sales activities, contracts, client interactions, including correct and real-time updates of the CRM sales system.
