ABOUT YOU
We are seeking an orderly at the TAH Green Point practice to provide exceptional care for animals and support our Veterinarians, Nurses, and AHT's in maintaining the highest standards of care while offering operational support.
Your role will be instrumental in providing comfort to our furry patients, maintaining a clean and stress-free environment, and prioritizing the well-being of our patients. You will thrive in a supportive environment that offers continuous development opportunities within a collaborative team setting.

ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 – 18:30
- Weekends & Public Holidays: Placed on rotation once fully trained.
- Travel: None required.

ABOUT THE ROLE
At TAH we aim to create a safe and frustration-free work environment, where empathising with and educating clients is key, whilst giving patients the best preventative and on-time care.
Your contribution in this will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Proficient animal handling; Adherence to cleanliness and hygiene protocols (all areas); Management of cleaning, handling, and management of contaminants and medical waste; Knowledge of food and feeding protocols; Animal grooming; Hospital in-patient care; Support for surgical procedures; Supervised anaesthesia monitoring; Preparation and monitoring of drips and catheters; Monitoring the animal status and post-anaesthetic recovery; Packing, marking, and sterilizing instruments and equipment; Radiation safety protocols; Supervised radiation treatment ; Reporting operational issues to the Practice Principal
