PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To support with the processing of new contracts and amendments to existing contracts in The SAP Ariba system, maintenance of the supplier database as well as general query resolution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 is essential.
- Business Administration/Finance/Supply Chain/Commercial Diploma or NQF6 equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years Contracts Administration/Business Administration/Supply Chain management experience.
- Knowledge of contract law and its application in the purchasing process.
- MS Office (Outlook, Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- SAP ERP system is essential.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Execute general contract administration work, as support to the Category Specialist and relevant role players as per Contract management procedures.
- Maintain terms and conditions for purchasing agreements and contracts (in conjunction with legal department).
- Draft and issue modifications and pricelist for signature.
- Capture, draft relevant paperwork, and close out vendor complaints.
- Maintain and execute contract expiry dates and price adjustments details.
- Verify that price adjustments are accurately entered on SAP within required time frame.
- Responsible for managing the contract folders and all associated files.
- Organise, maintain, and electronically track all contracts and related documents.
- Use data from SAP to evaluate Supplier Spend (On/off) contract.
- Good housekeeping.
