The Technical Maintenance Assessor ensures that all work proposed is necessary, compliant, and cost-effective—balancing the needs of tenants, property performance, and budget control.

• 3–5 years’ experience in residential property maintenance, facilities administration, or technical specifications
• Exposure to affordable housing or township rental stock preferred
• Experience working in high-volume, resource-constrained environment.
• Knowledge of residential building systems (basic plumbing, electrical, structural, etc.).
• Technical knowledge of material items, uses and best contraction practises.
• Ability to interpret and challenge contractor quotes and technical assessments.
• Strong administrative and document control abilities.
• Good judgment in balancing tenant needs with cost and compliance.
• Strong ability to adjudicate material prices and labour rates.
• Customer service mindset (especially in managing tenant-originated requests).
